This volume features a number of popular hymn tunes, including an extended and well-developed setting of EIN FESTE BURG, a grand trumpet tune on DARWALL’S 148TH, and a playful setting of ITALIAN HYMN. These are balanced by quieter settings of lesser-used tunes, including SONG 1, AUF MEINEN LIEBEN GOTT, and WAS MEIN GOTT WILL. Also included is an organ arrangement of Culli’s popular choral setting of WER GOTT VERTRAUT, HAT WOHL GEBAUT.
